The Venetian Cluster of Cultural and Environmental Heritage was born on the basis of the Regional Laws in order to incentivize the development of the whole sector of cultural and environmental heritage (research, restoration, conservation and valorisation, technologies for energy efficiency, sustainability assessment, etc) and to support companies operating in these sectors in research, development valorisation and internationalization processes. The Cluster is the only productive cluster of cultural and environmental heritage in Italy. The main target is to promote and coordinate national and international projects encouraging the collaboration between companies and institutions operating in these sectors. Until today more than 300 firms acceded to the Cluster, with their 5685 employees and more than 1.700.000 euro sales; over 24 of the most important Venetian Institutions for conservation, protection and promotion of cultural heritage are Cluster members.
